A Lesson on Discrimination

November 30, 2008 Leave a comment

Citizens of any country should never be labeled by the actions of their government.  This sort of discrimination often creates hatred for people that have nothing to do with their government’s actions.  Americans that travel abroad often see this discrimination depending on where they travel to.  Too many times the innocent people are blamed for things that are out of their control.  I would hope people are smarter than this.  People around the world are often molded into believing what ever government propaganda is thrown at them.  Regardless of who your government is at war with, that doesn’t mean the people have to be a part of this.  The US Government often does not hold the values or beliefs of the people.  Please remember this before you judge people from other countries.

Why Hiroshima?

At 8:16 hours on August 6th 1945 the United States government dropped the first atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima.  Did our government need to go this far? Why do so many innocent people die from government actions such as these?  As the saying goes, “absolute power, corrupts absolutely”. We must keep our governments in check to prevent the abuses against the innocent.

Japanese American Internment (U.S. Govt Propaganda)

For those that admire FDR, you should think again at the damage he caused this country and its people.  This is an example of how an extreme fascist government operates.  First the order that requires certain people to move, then the rounding up of those people and stealing of their property, then brainwashing everyone to think what they are doing is ok.  This short film shows how the US Government in 1942 violated the constitutional rights of over 120,000 Japanese Americans.
