04.20.2009 KVIA Darren Hunt Arrested on I-10 El Paso

This video shows how Darren Hunt a reporter for KVIA was harassed and arrested for no reason. The police officer in question clearly violated Mr. Hunts rights.  If you see any abuse of police power, please video tape the offensives so average Americans can be protected from these thugs.

His rights were not violated. He did not follow the dirrections given to him. He is a typical left wing news honk who tried to excersise his do you know who I am card.
If a officer tells you to do something , follow directions. He verbally and phisically resisted. He is a idiot and if you support him you are a menace to society.

Tracy, the last time I checked there is freedom of the press and freedom of speech. Darren Hunt has the right to exercise both under the constitution of the United States. The actions of this cop are 100% wrong. The reporter was leaving (even though he didn’t have too) when this scum bag decided to handcuff him. Now if your neocon police state agenda thinks differently then you are the menace to our free society.

The cops in El Paso have always been violent-especially the Mexican cops and the women–perhaps they feel they have something to prove to the White people. I have seen firsthand how cops brutalize people. What happened here was “soft” considering that most brutality goes unchecked because there is no camera. All the public has to do is access the internal affairs reports on cop brutality to see the extent to which this shit occurs.

It is sad when people like Tracy think that way! The police are not all ways right and the must follow the constitution ann the law. to many people give up their rights to easy. the reporter my be left win scum, but he wasn’t in the way and he wan’t causing a distubance. He was just doing his job the police officer was way out off line and short with the reporter. He should have and could have been more professonal.
