Didn’t Obama campaign against the civil rights abuses of the Bush administration as part of his platform of change?  Obama is absolutely wrong on his attempt to keep the government from any liability in wiretapping. The government can not violate the Bill of Rights, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! Americans need to stand up for their rights..

4th Amendment

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
