11.21.2006 PBS: 1918 H1N1 flu brought back to life in lab

I am not saying the recent outbreak is related to this video.  What I did want to report was the meddling of scientists with dangerous viruses from past pandemics that leaves the door open to the potential escape of such a virus in the environment.  I am curious however if the recent strain of H1N1 was man made.
